The Tutor supports student learning through one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions and helps the student comprehend subject material in order to successfully complete the course. The Tutor is knowledgeable of school curriculum across subjects for grade level assignments (K-8 and/or 9-12). Qualifications: • Three to five years of related tutorial experience. • Knowledgeable in Math and Reading teaching techniques. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal direction. • Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • An acute ability to listen, building a relationship of mutual respect and confidence. College Degree. A valid Teaching credential a plus.
